COASTER CHRISTMAS | 2011

After the show it was time for dinner.

Almost time to head into Reunion Hall.

After a huge buffet dinner of Christmas eats, it was time for presentations.

Pretty good turn out this year.

First up was Brad, the GM of Silver Dollar City.
Next year is being billed as the "Biggest Show Year Ever" at SDC. World Fest will be honoring Italy. Kids Fest will have Nick Wallenda return. There will be fireworks for 4th of July this year. Country Music Weekend will feature concerts by Pam Tillis and Diamond Rio in Echo Hollow. Harvest Festival will have a Wild West Stunt Show in Echo Hollow. Christmas will introduce "It's A Wonderful Life"
a new musical in the Heritage Hall. AND finally, he said that the Mystery 2013 addition would excite the ACErs. Soumds like a new coaster to me, but that opinion is just Mine.

Next was Chris from Schlitterbahn Kansas City, Kansas.
New for 2012 will be the opening of the rest of the "new" rides from the last expansion.
Boogie Bahn, King Kaw Rapids River, and Mighty Mo Tube Chute. They will also be adding
another hot tub bar pool over by Boogie Bahn and upgrading facilities, including restaurants.

He also handed out 2 free tickets to all attendees to come visit Schlitterbahn Kansas City, KS.

Brandon from Worlds of Fun was next.
He showed off photos of the new kiddie area that was added this year and showed
photos from the winter tear down and refurbishment going on right now at the park.

He also talked about new things and changes for next year at the park. They include: NEW Caribou Coffee near the front gate, NEW BBQ franchise to take over the existing BBQ joint in the park, NEW permanent HAUNT building (looking at a possible zombie infested school as the theme), MOVING Wacky Worm up to where the current kiddie train is located in Planet Snoopy, NEW Fast Lane program (10 rides - unlimited rides on each), NEW Live Entertainment around the park.

Last was Mike from Six Flags St. Louis.
He started off by talking about this past season was
the 40th anniversary of the park and how they celebrated.
