The day began with registration at 7:30 am. ERT started at 8:00 am on Wild Thing and Xtreme Swing
Wild Thing was running great that morning, even though the return trip was heavily braked.
It ran even better during the night ERT. I think overall I got about
14 laps on the thing during the course of the day
The layout is very unique. I'm not sure I dig the figure-8 helix,
but it works for this particular ride.
The coaster really does fly through the helix. I just can't help wondering
though if Wild Thing would be a better overall ride if it had Mamba's helix.
The first drop is great, and the short second hill gives killer air time.
One of the main reasons why I went to this event was the ERT on this contraption.
S&S never ceases to amaze me. This ride, Xtreme Swing was a lot of fun.
While the ride cycle was a little on the short side, the aerial
forces that these swings produce are unreal.
