Ok, let's head into the original building now.
The "red room" features renaissance works.
My favorite room here is the Monet room.
This is one from his "water lilies" series -- the canvas is massive.
The winter city scene is another of his famous works.
The brush work on this one was interesting -- very abstract.
The marble pillars of the great commons.
This museum also has quite a few Egyptian artifacts.
This head piece is massive -- at least 2 feet tall.
