Welcome to Day 2 of CoasterQuest 2009 and Park #2
KINGS ISLAND
As soon as I got into the park, THE Ohio State Spring Athletic Band
greeted me to the park. Got to love marching bands in amusement parks.
This coaster was the real reason I was here today (and last night).
Diamond Back has drastically changed the skyline of Kings Island.
A unique aspect of this coaster is the splash down pool.
Also, I think besides Manta's trains, this is by far the best themed
train that B&M has produced for one of its coasters.
Is it fun? Indeed it is.
I think I still prefer Behemoth over Diamond Back...
... but Diamond Back was a much needed addition to Kings Island.
The first drop seems to just go on forever when riding the coaster.
