SILVER DOLLAR CITY | Trip Report 04.25.09

The next act featured parasol juggling.

The girl had most of these parasols spinning right about now.

These are the famous head balancing monks from Zhejiang.

The amount of concentration that this would take is crazy.

As if walking on their heads wasn't enough, they got even more creative.

The next portion of the show was called the Butterfly Lovers.

The act included at duet on flying silk that soared over the audience.

I think I was most impressed with how it was the girl who supported the
boy's weight through most of the act when they wre flying.

The acrobats were fantastic and I can definitely
see them coming back next year.

Up at the Gazebo Stage, Jenny Blackladdder from new Zealand
showed off her 4-string banjo skills

After her act, Wayne Horsburgh from Australia performed.
This is his 25th anniversary tour and his last appearance at SDC.

Well even though there was a lot of people at the park today (17,000)
I still had a great time -- Bluegrass and BBQ is the next festival at SDC
and that starts the second week of May.
