CAROWINDS | Trip Report 08.10.10

Welcome back to Carowinds and this year's version of EASTCOASTER.

Usually I don't visit the same parks two years in a row on EASTCOASTER, but...

Carowinds decided to build a reason to come back this year.

One could say it is really causing people to race back to the park.

Meet Intimidator, Carowinds new B&M hypercoaster.

This ride towers over the rest of the park and finally is putting
Carowinds on the map of "must visits" for coaster enthusiasts.

The train features the new seating arrangment that has been popular on
all the new hypercoasters from B&M that have been built since Behemoth.

The ride starts off quickly with a towering plunge from the lift hill.

The next hill features a funky turn and then
the ride is a quick race to the end.

Nothing but a sea of red hills on this side of the park now.
