HURRICANE HARBOR CHICAGO | Trip Report 07.07.10

Welcome to Hurricane Harbor Chicago.
Due to the heat, the waterpark is pretty busy today.
Let's start with Tornado.

From there it was time to take a trip around their torrent river
Castaway Creek.

This slide complex seemed to be the most popular.
Vortex & Typhoon - bowl slides, Hammerhead & Barracuda - tube slides

...and Paradise Plunge & Riptide - speed body slides

In the middle of the park is this complex with two large family
raft slides - Bahama Mama and Bubba Tubba.

I honestly do not remember which is which. They're both fun.

Skull Island is the large water playfortress in the park.

There are a lot of slides and other cool things there.

Wahoo Racers is a downhill head-first mat octopus racer slide complex.

Hurricane Mountain is the slide complex the farthest away from the
entrance, but also packs some of the most extreme raft slides here.

The final attraction at the waterpark is Hurricane Bay, the park's wave pool.
Well it is way too crowded in here now, let's go check out the ride park.
