Welcome to Worlds of Fun.
Tonight, the park is officially opening their latest addition to the park.
Before we explore the new area, let's explore the VIP area.
Here is one of two cakes that was specially made for tonight.
Here is the other one. Both look wonderful.
The offerings in the VIP area included Cinnabon cupcakes and an
assortment of brownies and lemon bars. They were all very yummy.
What were we here for again? Oh yeah, Snoopy's Hot Summer Lights
a new multi-sensory light display is opening tonight.
The main entrance to the area is located near the train station.
To keep people from entering the area before the park was ready,
they had a lighted rope (how fitting, right?) blocking the entrance.
To kick things off, Brandon Stanley, the park's PR manager, welcomed
everybody to the event and talked a little about the new addition.
Before we knew it, it was time to explore the "new" area.
Quite a large crowd was waiting to enter the area.
