WORLDS OF FUN - MEDIA EVENT | Trip Report 06.04.10
My mom accompanied on this particular trip and loved how the park
had the Peanuts characters out for photographs in the area.
The first area that you come into is "Lucy's Flower Garden".
This is the one section of the "new" area that features the guest
activated lights. For example, by pushing a large red button,
these lights featured above are activated.
These flowers are also guest activated. There are 4 displays that
have this interactive element in this section.
Next to the carousel is this display.
This is also where we get to see Lucy.
The cool part about this display are these two very large blooming
flowers which open up to show very colorful petals.
The next section of the "new" area is "Celebrate America".
The red, white and blue lights in this area almost create an
"old school" 3D glasses feel.
On top of the restrooms are "firework explosions".
Over behind the carousel you'll find this grove of trees with a huge star.
