SIX FLAGS ST. LOUIS - OPENING WEEKEND | Trip Report 04.03.10
Welcome to Six Flags St. Louis and the start of their 2010 season.
Even before you get to the metal detectors, changes made this off-season
are visible - including this new barrier that replaces the old cement
slab barrier that used to be here. Personally I think this is more classy.
I headed back to get my season pass processed when I got into the park.
I thought it was cool how they now have specific locations to meet characters.
After getting my pass processed, in was possibly the shortest line I have
ever waited in to do so, I headed up to Screamin' Eagle for the first ride of the day.
They were still doing the Double Rides when I got in line, so that made
the line move rather slowly even though it was short.
The Eagle was running great today.
There a little bit of shuffling in the first swoop after the lift.
However the rest of the course was crazy out of control and a lot of fun.
Next up was Superman. I usually don't ride this because the line is so
out of control, but with a minimal wait, I was all for a ride.
Not sure why Rush Street Flyer was closed. I can understand Tidal Wave...
