FISHERMAN'S WHARF | Trip Report 06.23.10
Continuing on from Pier 39 you get to one of the most famous areas
in San Francisco -- Fisherman's Wharf.
This area used to be full of people catching fish - now it is full
of people catching tourists. Seems they make better money that way.
This was one of the weirdest sidewalk artist groups performing today.
One guy pretended to be a dancing monkey while the other played music.
Everyone knows about the Cable Cars of San Francisco - however, the
Electric Street Cars are just as cool and will actually get you more places.
Walking around the area, you can see some things left over from the past.
The Cannery Building had a neat look to it.
Another side of the same building.
Also in the same area is the Del Monte factory
Ghirardelli Square was once the home to a famous chocolate factory.
I thought this place was interesting
