ADVENTURE BAY | Trip Report 06.25.11
Welcome to the Midwest's Newest Waterpark - Adventure Bay!
Today I am joined by my two siblings, Derrijk and Kara
along with Hilary, Derrijk's girlfriend.
Our first ride of the day would be Typhoon.
You can ride on either a clover-leaf (4 passenger) or a
wheelie (2 passenger) raft. We all decided that riding the
wheelie rafts provided the better ride.
From Typhoon we went to the Bermuda Quadrangle. This complex
features tube slides. The orange and yellow slide is a ProSlide
Tantrum. The green and blue is a ProSlide Bowl slide.
The purple slide is an enclosed slide.
The green slide is only partially enclosed.
The complex is a lot of fun, and I would expect it
gets rather busy on hot days.
My favorites of the batch were the Tantrum and the Bowl slides.
It was a tad chilly today, which explains the small crowds.
Luckily a lot of the water features at the park are heated.
Time to challenge the speed and racing slides.
