ADVENTURE BAY | Trip Report 06.25.11
First we decided to ride Reef Racer, which is a 6-lane mat racer slide.
Derrijk, of course, won all of the contests.
Poor Kara barely made it to the end of the slide.
After 3 races we decided to do the speed slides.
The Gangplank (green slide) was pretty intense,
but I enjoyed the red, white and blue speed slide more.
Next we moved to Kokomo Kove, which was the
original structure of the waterpark.
The water here was really cold though,
so we didn't last too long on this structure.
From here we rode the Quadrangle slides some more.
Last thing before we left was to try out the lazy river.
Thankfully, it was heated.
They say it is the longest in Iowa.
Had a great time at Adventure Bay,
but we're ready to try out the ride park now.
