Welcome to Hurricane Harbor Chicago
which claims to be the "Best Waterpark in the Nation"
Since my last visit, they've added a whole new
section to the park called Riptide Bay
The new area features a Surf Rider, which I found to be
much easier to master than Boogie Bahn at Schlitterbahn.
Also in the area is a huge activity pool
called Monsoon Lagoon.
They even have a lilly pad walk here.
Adding more slides is always a good idea.
Here are four "trap door" body slides.
Mega Wedgie is the two looping slides
Dive Bomber is the vertical drop slides.
Also in the area is this Tantrum Alley slide
called Wipeout, which uses cloverleaf rafts.
The activity river, Castaway Creek was popular today.
It was a lot of fun to float around the park.
