HURRICANE HARBOR CHICAGO | TRIP REPORT 07.19.12
Tornado was sure busy today. Wish they'd install
a conveyor lift to take the rafts back up to the top.
Huge tangle of slides. The speed slides are Paradise
Plunge and Riptide. The two raft slides in the middle
are Hammerhead and Barracude and the two bowl slides on
the right are Vortex and Typhoon. They're all fun.
Looking back at Tornado before we move on.
Here are two great family raft slides.
Bubba Tubba on the left and Bahama Mama
is on the right. Bubba Tubba is my favorite.
HUrricane Bay is sort of mild for a wave pool.
Heading on to the back of the park.
Skull Island is a massive waterfortress.
I didn't spend much time in there, but
the slides I did ride were fun.
Wahoo Racers was great. Won both races.
Hurricane Mountain features 4 different slides.
The green one was completely out of control.
Had a great time at Hurricane Harbor, but
I'm ready to head back into Great America.
