IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE| SDC | Special Report 12.01.12

New this year at an Old Time Christmas is another
Broadway-caliber musical "It's A Wonderful Life"

The show is currently playing in the Red Gold Heritage Hall
and utilizes a brand new stage with some great looking props.

Just a word of caution. Make sure you arrive early as
this is the view from the top of the bleachers.

The story starts off in heaven, just like in the movie,
where they discuss who will be sent to help George on Earth.
It turns out, it will be Clarence.

The actual show starts off with a great musical number
that comes from the movie Polar Express.

Again, the set pieces work wonderfully.

The show progresses through the backstory of George Bailey
and begins with how Mary and George met - at a malt shop.

Mary sings a great silly love song where she states,
"I love him, I love him, I LOVE him."

Clarence asking questions about George from the high angel.

George was just sure he was going to go see the world.
Here he is picking out a suitcase.
