WORLDS OF FUN | PARK UPDATE 06.01.12
Welcome back to Worlds of Fun.
We're going to enter via the Ride & Slide Gate today.
I have to admit, that while it is a pain walking all
the way to the Oceans turn style to get in now...
It sure does look A LOT better than the old version.
It is good to see Monsoon is finally open for the season.
Continuing into the park, we go past Fury of the Nile
which received quite a bit of attention this off season.
The most noticeable is the new wood in the queue area,
but all of the geysers are now working and the rapids
seem to be more intense than they have for awhile.
The most shocking is the waterfall is back at
the end of the cave. No one escapes getting wet.
Sea Dragon is being very tempermental this season.
It was open to start the season, but has had lots
of issues since. Hopefully it will return soon.
The secret "short cut" has been closed off.
Sorry, you have a longer walk now.
They really did a good job on fixing this up.
